GOLF OUTING EVENTS GENERAL INFORMATION:

Golf, Carts, Prices and Available Outing Dates:
Minimum head count for golf outings is 20 persons. Contact Big Met at (440) 331-1070 or check out the Cleveland Metroparks Golf Course Website for details on golf/cart prices and outing date availability.

Capacity:
The Terrace at Big Met Grille fits 125 guests comfortably, with 12 round tables and 125 chairs. Minimum group size of 20, maximum of 144 for indoors/patio. Rental tent option available for larger groups; ask to see our full line of rental items and options.

Availability:
The Terrace at Big Met Grille is always available for rental on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesdays, and Thursday evenings with unlimited advanced booking options.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings from March through October can only be booked 90 days in advance, as golf outings have first priority on these days in advance of 90 days. (There is no advance booking limitation from November through February.)

Rental Price:
All buffets include a four (4) hour rental, set up of the provided tables and chairs, and clean up.

Services:
Catering services provided by A Big Show: Hors d’oeuvres, Buffets, Plated Functions, Outdoor Grilling, Wedding Cakes, and more are available. We also offer centerpieces and bridal bouquets. A service charge of 20% will be added to all bills, plus the applicable sales tax of 7.75%

Beer and wine may be purchased through A Big Show Catering.

CHARGRILLED DINNERS

Quality is our focus: we only use USDA Choice Select Meats that are fresh, never frozen. Steaks are always Black Angus hand cut and trimmed complete (no fat or bone, which can make up 40% of the weight for some caterers!). Steaks are marinated 24 hours for optimal flavor and tenderness. They are chargrilled on Mesquite and Hickory chips (never propane!) for that 'Texas taste'. Steaks are cooked to perfection with an option of well done to still mooing! Even for large groups that eat all together! Grilled Mushrooms & Onions are always served on the side. Or try our Roasted Rack of Pork that is even better than a Pig Roast! We take a center cut pork loin with the Frenched Bones still on, and slow sear it on the grille. It carves like a huge 14 oz lamb chop and is served with a choice of chutneys: baked apples & kraut, sweet & sour, or BBQ sauce. It always gets rave reviews, year after year! If you are thinking about a clambake, our clam chowder is homemade and out of this world! Clams are always middle neck and steamed fresh on site. Or really dazzle your guests with multiple grilled entree selections -- then everyone is happy!

ADDITIONS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Minimums: Minimum of 30 people. Counts below 30 will incur an upcharge and are available by approval only.

Final/Counts: Final number must be guaranteed 2 weeks before event. (It is the customer's responsibility to schedule this final appointment, or else we will choose a menu for you and base the count on the quote.) Customer must pay for this number guaranteed regardless of cancellations or no-shows. Additions can be made up to 2 weekdays before the event at 9:00 am. All final details for timing, menu, cake, set up, etc, must be finalized two weeks prior (or we will decide for you) Any change requests after this point are not guaranteed. Customers must pay for the minimum amount of people required. Final payment is due one week before the event. Any additions after this time can be paid on event day before the start time.

Room Rentals: the price includes 4hours. Additional time is charged at $75 per hour.

Set Up/Timing Service: charge pays for set up of buffet. We start setting up one hour before guests arrive to set up. Dinner must be served 1/2 hour after guests arrive; or one hour after if hors d'oeuvres are purchased. Dinner and dessert service is for one hour. Afterwards, servers will clean up food items, tear down buffet, etc and leave. ADDITIONAL charges are at $50 an hour per server. (Such as deviation of times, set up of rentals, set up of customer's name cards, favors, etc.)

Tear Down Service: charge includes tear down of buffet and clean up of food items purchased only. Additional charges will incur for tear down of rentals or customers items. Cost is $50 an hour per server.

Rentals: Rental prices are for the rentals only. Set up charges and tear down charges will apply. China, glassware, & silverware prices include bussing fees. The Big Show will work with you to develop a layout for the rentals. Customer will be responsible for any damage to rental items or theft of rental items at full replacement value. Delivery and pick up times will be arranged at your final appointment. Prices for rentals are subject to change from quote price, but not more than 10%.

Alcohol: Must be provided by A Big Show Catering. Bartenders are $15 per hour.

Timing: will be prescheduled. Any deviation from this may result in extra charges. The Big Show, ltd reserves the right to start the dinner without the guests of honor if they have not arrived within 20 minutes of the scheduled time.

Prices: Price on non food items are subject to change without notice. Additions billed at current prices. Service charge billed on entire invoice at 18%. Sales tax of 7.75% for rentals and beverages will apply. Children 10 & under are half off adult menu prices. (however, their counts can not be included to meet our minimum requirements) Special customized children menus are available by quote. Prices for rental items are subject to change with out notice. Additions or changes are billed at current prices. Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Check & Cash are accepted.

Deposit: 25% non refundable deposit secures date and contract quantity pricing. Final payment is due one week before your event. If rentals are ordered, a security deposit of $200 will be held from this amount until thirty days after the event.

Payment is due one week before when you give the guaranteed count or upon receipt.

Cancellation: cancellation 8 months to two weeks before will incur an additional 25% penalty. Cancellations from two weeks and up to the event day will incur a penalty of the guaranteed count or the contract amount if no guaranteed count was given.

Indemnification Customer holds The Big Show and Cleveland Metroparks harmless against any claims from the acts of themselves and guests including any accident, injury or damage, however caused, to any person or property related to the event , and against any costs, attorney fees, expenses, and liabilities. The Big Show is not liable for lost or stolen items.

Liability: Customer will be responsible for any negligent acts of themselves or guests damaging the property of The Big Show, ltd. And Cleveland Metroparks. Premises Loss In the event the facility suffers temporary loss of utilities, fixtures, acts of nature, or acts of terrorism; customer hereby waives all claims for injury or damage, physical, emotional, or contractual. If The big Show, ltd has to enforce collection methods, the customer is responsible for all charges, interest, and attorney fees. There will be a $30 charge for NSF checks.
